    Other Ways To Identify Vintage Clothing

    Single Stitch vs. Double Stitch

        The use of a singular stitch was common practice up until the mid to late 90's. Double Stitching was introduced in the late 80's and ultimately became the preferred way to stitch shirts in the late 90's/early 2000's.

          Country of Manufature

              Most of the time(*), clothing that says "Made In U.S.A." on the size tag means that it dates pre-2000's. *Some companies still produce their products in the US, but majority have switched to other countries due to cheaper labor costs.
